Airspace Management Application
Nautilex is a comprehensive maritime airspace-management application designed for the Mediterranean Coordination and Control Center (CCMar). It centralizes all Zonex airspace reservation requests and automates the import, interpretation, and integration of these messages into the system.
The application manages the activation of airspace blocks through an intelligent algorithm that respects operational constraints and assists operators with conflict resolution when multiple blocks overlap. It also provides several visualization tools, including altitude-based activity tables, colored timeline previews, and an interactive map simulation with a time slider.
Nautilex can automatically generate daily PDF flight sheets summarizing all scheduled activities. It also includes an advanced statistics module capable of analyzing reservation volume, activation periods, altitude usage, client activity, and day/night operations, helping operators better understand and optimize airspace occupation.
The system features a full configuration interface allowing administrators to manage blocks, sectors, and route closures without modifying the code. Additional tools include manual creation and editing of reservations, visibility controls to refine the interface, and a real-time alert system that warns operators 30 minutes before an activity begins.
Designed to be ergonomic, modular, and operationally reliable, Nautilex significantly improves coordination, situational awareness, and safety in maritime airspace management.
